Belgrade, June 19, 2014 – At the fifth session held on June 19, 2014 the Security Services Control Committee discussed and adopted the reports on the work of the Military Intelligence Agency submitted until March 31, 2014.

Committee members assessed that the reports on the Military Intelligence Agency provide an overall insight in the most important segments of the work of this security service in the reporting periods and gave their full support to the further coordinated and harmonized work of security services in the field of protection of national interests and implementation of security and intelligence policy of the Republic of Serbia.

After the Committee had reviewed and adopted the Report on the work of the Military Security Agency for the period from October 1, 2013 to April 1, 2014 and the Report on the work of the Security Information Agency for the period from October 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014 at the third and fourth session, by adopting the Report on the work of the Military Intelligence Agency the Committee concluded the procedure of the discussion on the reports on the work of the security services for the previous period, which represents the obligation of the Committee in line with the Law on the Bases Regulating Security Services of the Republic of Serbia and the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly
