A ceremony on the occasion of working year’s end and a farewell ceremony for retired staff members were held jointly on December 30, 2010, in the House of Guard in Topcider.
On the eve of New Year holidays, the traditional meeting of the MIA leadership and retired MIA members was held on December 29 in the Great War Hall of the Old Army HQ.

06.07.2010. | New USA Defence and Land Forces Attache Hands Colonel Branislav Anocic with the "Legion of Merits"
On Tuesday, July 6, 2010, in the cabinet of the Deputy Director of the MIA, the Colonel in the Armed Forces of Serbia, Branislav Anocic was awarded with the Decoration for Officers by the President of the United States of America, the "Legion of Merits".
At the ceremony held at the French Embassy in Belgrade, the French Ambassador Jean Francois Terral handed Colonel Slavoljub Dabic, the Serbian Defence Attache in Paris (2005-2009) with a high decoration, which made Colonel Dabic the Officer of the National Order of Merit.
The Committee for Defence and Security reviewed the Military Intelligence Agency work report for the period from December 1, 2009 to May 31, 2010, at the session held on June 29, 2010.
