Brigadier General Stojkovic at the SEEMIC Conference

The Director of the Military Intelligence Agency Brigadier General Zoran Stojkovic participated on 10th annual South East Europe Military Intelligence Chiefs (SEEMIC) Conference which was held on 10th November in Tirana.

This year Conference has been dedicated to cyber security. The participants have discussed the challenges in protecting state critical infrastructure, that is, people property and information systems from the cyber space attacks. It has been agreed that this is a growing threat which requests developing specific capabilities of every country in South East Europe, their mutual cooperation and exchange of information.

The directors of military intelligence services of the participant countries of SEEMIC Conference have adopted the Report “Challenges to Critical Infrastructure Cyber Security in South East Europe”.

This year’s SEEMIC Conference has been organized by Regional Cooperation Council and Millitary Intelligence-Security Service of Albania.

Slovenia will be the host of the Conference next year.
